Illinois Rural Community Care Organization (IRCCO) is a hospital-owned Accountable Care Organization (ACO) formed by a collaborative network of rural hospitals across Illinois. IRCCO serves as the strategic and operational backbone for its member organizations, supporting their participation in the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) and other value-based care initiatives. Through centralized data analytics, regulatory guidance, and performance improvement support, IRCCO empowers rural providers to deliver high-quality, coordinated care while maintaining their local independence.
As the management arm of the ACO, IRCCO does not deliver direct patient care. Instead, we support our member hospitals, clinics, and providers by offering centralized services that enhance care coordination, improve quality outcomes, and reduce unnecessary healthcare costs. Our mission is to empower rural healthcare systems with the tools, data, and guidance they need to succeed in a value-based care environment—while preserving local autonomy and patient-centered care.
In short, we support the healthcare foundations of our communities!
