Frequently Asked Questions About IRCCO and Rural Healthcare

IRCCO (Illinois Rural Community Care Organization) is a statewide Accountable Care Organization (ACO) serving rural Illinois. We bring together hospitals, clinics, and physicians to improve primary carechronic disease management, and care coordination, all aimed at enhancing health outcomes while reducing healthcare costs.

Below, you’ll find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about our mission, services, and how we support rural healthcare providers and patients.

Q: “What should I do if I have a concern about how my provider or the ACO has handled my data.”

A: “You have several options available to you. You may contact your physician’s office directly and ask to speak to their Compliance Officer about their concerns, or you may also leave a comment directly for IRCCO by using the ‘Report a Compliment or Concern’ box found on our Contact Us page (this is anonymous unless you leave your name / contact information in the message).

Alternatively, you can reach out directly to our ACO Compliance Officer, Todd Searls at tsearls@ircco.org or call our main administration number: (877) 560-8564. Any individual who, in good faith, reports suspected wrongdoing can make reports anonymously and always without fear of retaliation. Providing your name and contact details will allow us to circle back to you with any updates on our investigation, but is not required.

IRCCO encourages reporting of privacy and security incidents; policy and procedural complaints; suspected illegal activity including fraud, waste and abuse; retaliation for reporting such issues; and any other legal or ethical concerns.”
